Who Are Trichome Jungle Seeds?
Originally from the UK Trichome Jungle moved out to Spain to pursue his ideas in the world of cannabis seed breeding.
For a lot of breeders the most important thing is having something for the large scale market that is “New”. While part of this may apply to Trichome Jungle Seeds it’s not just about the new for them but what they can find from strains some have forgotten about.
The latest feminised drop is known as the Soul collection as they are all crossed at some point with Soul Mate – A strain from which Trichome Jungle has found some great characteristics for breeding new crosses.
What Makes Trichome Jungle Seeds a bit different
While many breeders these days are just looking for the next big thing or making their own versions of strains such as Gelato, Gorilla Glue, Runtz & many more. Trichome Jungle Seeds are focusing on new & different flavours, getting the most out of terpenes found in particular phenos.
We discovered Trichome Jungle Seeds through instagram. After being very impressed with what we saw we went to forums & podcasts to find out a bit more information. In a podcast with GrowRoom420 Trichome Jungle talks about how important the entourage effect is within cannabis. Not just how high you can get the THC levels up to.
This is what made us most excited to be able to get Trichome Jungle Seeds on board. We found a breeder who was looking at getting the most out of a strain for everything it could offer. Not just mind boggling stats.
As you will notice from each strain when you look at the stats, there is nothing to tell you the THC %. While this may seem weird it is important to know that the THC % doesn’t mean everything. When it comes to strength and effect of the strain you are choosing, terpenes count just as much. This takes us back to the entourage effect.
Trichome Jungle had this to say on the GR420 podcast:
“A guy that sells to the dispensary, he had grown out one one of my strains and the THC had come back to like I think about 20% or 19% & he was saying, you know that is very low for the market in America. But you can smoke that strain and it still knocks you out like something that is gonna be 26% THC. So THC really for me isn’t a big thing, because everything we are working on nowadays is high in THC unless you are working with something that is CBD or something like that.
All our strains, its not like we are working with something like land races like back in the day or some of the early hybrids that were very low in THC. So anything we work with nowadays is high THC plants. I find that i can have 3 plants that are all around 20% THC but have very different terpene profiles and hit you in a total different way so its not the THC that is having the full effect on you.”
What Flavours Are In The Latest Drop?

Cherry Soul is a cross of Cherry Cookie x Soulmate. Expect strong cherry flavours with hints of antiseptic & a real gassy taste often found in some of today’s favourite strains. You can see strongly the cookies genetics with this one with a good yield & nice tight bulky nugs. Expect it to flower in 9 weeks with crystal covered buds.
Pineapple soul comes from the cross of Gummy Berry Juice #3 x Soulmate. Gummy Berry Juice is a strain previously created by Trichome Jungle Seeds. This particular cut (#3) carries fresh and juicy pineapple flavours. This crossed with the Soulmate gives it great stable genetics with great fruity tastes to go with. Other flavours noted in this cross are trocpical & fruity with a flowering time of 8-10 Weeks.
Rose Soul may be the one that is most different and more acquired tastes of the new drop. This creation was made from a cross of 100 Hand Slap x Soulmate. With Rose water, floral & kushy flavours packed in it certainly has something that a lot of strains don’t. A real unique flavour profile. 100 Hand Slap is another of Trichome Jungle Seeds creations. It packs not only great flavours but as the name suggests a real strong high to go with it. Flowering Time on this one is 9 weeks. If you are a Kush fan this could be the one for you.
Shivas Stash x Soulmate can be thanked for this beautiful lady. The pictures on this one make it just so appealing! Taking another Trichome Jungle creation – Shivas Stash they crossed in with Soulmate to produce this outstanding new strain. Full of beautiful colours and great taste this is one that is sure to light up anyone’s tent. Flowering time is 9 weeks. Expect frankincense, spice & gassy flavours with this one.
For those how love a sour strain look no further than Sour Fusion. The creation from Sour Neo x Soulmate it has all the sour lineage in it you could every want. Sour Neo is a Trichome Jungle Seeds creation from a previous drop. Sour Power x Sour Diesel x Jungle Kush, can it get much more sour than that? Bred to give us something with crazy gassy flavours you will find flavours of sour, antiseptic and a hint of vanilla. Flowering is 10-11 weeks, a bit longer than the rest but well worth the wait!
Gummy Bear Juice #1 x Soulmate. The second strain in this new drop to use Gummy Bear Juice as one of the parents. In this case is was the pheno labeled #1. This particular pheno has more of an Orange taste to the fruity profile unlike #3 which is more like pineapple. Trichome Jungle have a few versions of the Gummy Bear Juice. The one used to create this cross is sure to give amazing mouthwatering flavours. Big hints of Orange, Mandarin & Tropical fruit. 9 Weeks flowering on this one.
